Clamshell Beach Resort
SVN | Northco was hired as the seller’s representative for the sale of the award-winning Clamshell Beach Resort and development land in Pequot Lakes, MN (“Clamshell Beach”).
Clamshell Beach is comprised of two business opportunities with great revenue streams: a resort property and a development property. The sale consisted of the resort business (including all FF&E and all shares in existing unsold units), and 16 development lots that are platted and approved. The group that bought Clamshell Beach had previously invested in traditional commercial real estate assets and hotels; they now have more hospitality acquisitions planned.
SVN | Northco was able to help advise on numerous matters including association management, business analysis, financing and in the end helped bridge the gap between the buyer and seller utilizing a small portion of seller financing. SVN | Northco has now worked on a number of different potential deals with the buyer since the sale, acting in the capacity of a trusted advisor.
